This stole is a joint enterprise between Pedro Langa, the women's Limanyano of the Methodist church in Mozambique and Rainbow Turtle of Paisley. Pedro, an artist based in Maputo, Mozambique, hand painted it, the women's group sewed it and Rainbow Turtle imported and marketed it.
Rainbow Turtle is commited to working in partnership with producers from the developing world, providing much needed employment. This stole was hand made with care and can be worn knowing it has brought hope and dignity to a community where life is fraught with difficulty.
